'Ketchup' Time with Dman...

So many small achievements make for a grand design. It takes so many parts to make wonderful things blossom into magnificent creations. This is what I have learned. Now in our last 3 weeks before the new shop opens in Granville Station, we all are beginning to realize what a monster of a product/ brand we are sitting on - it's huge.


It's so simple and easy for us now. We already have the formula & our little 'social foodie experiment' is over. People want to put crazy shit on hot dawgs - period. So, upon retuning to Vancouver, my goals are the same - Stay on target, kids are the key, forget about what everyone else is doing in the city - their products are all garbage and poorly represented. Finally, kill it with innovative recipes, tastes and combinations including revolutionary never before created Dawgs like the Sea Dawgs (Halibut & Wild Salmon) or the Meatball Dawg (Bison meat and spices) or the Dinky Desert Dawg! Whoa...right?


I'll say it again - Dinky Dawgs is about kids and families enjoying themselves, creating healthy & delicious food together, with the most toppings in the most incredible space ever to serve hot dawgs in the entire world. That's it, no Dragons, no celebrity endorsements, nothing by grass fed, organic Dawgs made just the way you like it, every time, all the time. ;)

Practice Makes Perfect...Granville Station Launches Spring 2013!


It's been an entire year and we can proudly say we made it to our First Birthday! Congratulations to my Partners, my Team and the wonderful town of Whistler for building this brand into the phenomenon it's become. The good news is - Vancouver here we come!



Located in the heart of Granville Station, Dinky Dawgs is geared up for a massive launch this coming April. A ton of hard work and diligence has gone into finding the right space and making this a dream come true for us all. In cooperation with our new partners, we will be further expanding the brand this summer to a few more Skytrain Stations and Surrey this year. Our goal is to continue to build modest scaled shops and serve the best Grass Fed Organic Dawgs in BC. The marketing machine kicks in hard this week and I can't wait to release it on such a grand scale. Holy Sh*t we did it.

Winter is coming....

It's starting to snow in the mountains now, you can see the white caps growing everyday, so awesome. Can't wait to try out my new board and skis, we are also moving into a slick to spot closer to the shop. I can walk to work in 7 minutes - In snow shoes! Thor is growing like a weed, he's already 70lbs at 8 months old. Cene has been writing some killer tracks and she's built quite a library of quintessential beats and rhythms. I have decided to slow down a bit, enjoy life more and take in this amazing place we live in. Except for this - Smart Ad Cabs - You know I can't slow down too much!?

I can still pump out a ROCK STAR design plate for ANY BRAND in an HOUR!! So what right?

For me, the thing that has pushed me away from freelance for the past 20 years is people lack passion.

So, I say buy ready made web templates and do it yourself, use social marketing routes to get the word out and trust your barber to decide on your logo, he knows what's a good look for you anyways ;p

Guinness Updated...


Wow, I guess its not so far fetched for us to create a category in The Guinness Book of World Records after all? They wrote me back we are in Stage 2 of 4. The Most Toppings Available on a Hot Dog could very well go to Dinky Dawgs. We would hold the title and invite anyone to challenge us of course. So far we boast over 57 of the most unique toppings. They said for us to sit tight and wait for their official deliberation - sooooo we wait. ;)

Going for Guinness....


Can you believe there is no category for the Most Toppings on a Hot Dog in the World?

Well I have officially applied for the very title. As of next week we are boasting over 70 amazing toppings! That's just nuts - 12 weeks ago when we opened we started with 25, incredible feedback from our loyal Dinky Dawgers. Lesson #2334 - Always listen to your customers.

Well I hope this pans out cause it would be pretty cool to throw our Official Grand Opening Launch Party with the Guinness Title under our belt.

Dinky Dawgs 2.0...


This is a mock up I did for a very unique & tiny little closet of a space located in the Main Village Information Center. It's in the Village Loop and where 35 Buses off load 100's of hungry tourists each and everyday. This is the pulse of curious tourists looking for adventure in Whistler and of course a quick snack.

It's a perfect fit for us and a logical step forward for our brand. The offer is in now we wait.
